Situated in the heart of Auchterarder and on the doorstep of the world famous Gleneagles hotel, Milton is a truly distinctive bridal boutique.  Forward thinking and innovative, this luxury boutique showcases stunning designer, bridal and evening gowns from around the globe.  Encompassing collaborations from the world’s premier bridal couture from cutting edge fashion to timeless classics, each gown has been hand selected by owner/designer, Kirsty Johnstone.  With an extensive design and fashion background, Kirsty offers a truly personal service to all her clients and is on hand to offer advice on luxury fabrics, colours, cuts and styles to suit each individual.   Purchasing a gown from Milton is an experience to be savoured not simply a shopping trip.  At Milton you are not only selecting an individual, exquisitely, hand crafted gown made from luxurious and exquisite fabrics, you are purchasing from a unique boutique and we believe you deserve to be pampered.  So, sit back and relax in this wonderfully decadent boudoir and let the magic begin as we take you on a journey……

About Kirsty

Kirsty Johnstone drew up with the Milton concept in November 2004 whilst she was working as a range, product manager/designer for various High Street suppliers in the fashion and footwear industry.  After extensively travelling the globe through business and pleasure, with a BSC Honours degree in fashion and nearly a decade-worth of industry experience under her belt, Kirsty identified a demand for a luxury, personalised, bridal boutique.  Kirsty’s philosophy was simple – to balance brilliant couture design with impeccable service and outstanding quality in a luxurious environment and thus Milton was born.

As Kirsty prefers to spend at least an hour with each client she invites brides to make individual appointments.  This allows time to hear all about your plans and to ensure that your dress lives up to all your expectations and wildest dreams!

You've found "The One"

The gowns generally take approximately 5 to 6 months to be made to order, so please leave plenty of time prior to your wedding.  We are also happy to sell our gowns direct to you off the peg (sometimes with a considerable discount).  Even if you are on a tight timescale, please contact us as there is always something we at Milton can do to help you.

Milton request a 50% deposit of the dress price on ordering and your balance is due when your gown arrives at the boutique.  Our pricing policy is closely monitored to ensure that we match each of our designers’ recommended retail price.  Should you find the same gown elsewhere for a lower price then please notify us with the full details and we will check this and price match for you.

Your gown has arrived!

When your made to order gown arrives at the boutique we will be happy to store it within the boutique premises free of charge.  We also provide a free, luxury fabric, dress bag and also free pressing of your gown should you require it.

Most gowns need altered slightly once they arrive to ensure that they fit your body one hundred percent.  You need to leave enough time for this, between one and two months ahead of your wedding (but don’t worry if time is of the essence we can work miracles for you).  Alterations are always an extra charge from any bridal salon so please leave some budget aside for this and we can point you in the right direction of the best seamstresses available when or if this service is required.
